" The White Man's Burden "
What is "The White Man's Burden"? The white man's burden is a poem that the was written by a Britain poet. In response to the Americans take over the Philippines.
Read some analysis of the poem. Do you agree with this analysis? I agree and disagree because the Americans were wrong in taking the Philippines because there was a lot of blood and war. But then the Americans would not have had the Philippines trade rots.
The poem was written in 1899 about US imperialism in The Philippines - is the US still imperialistic today?
Are we still living the "White Man's Burden" one-hundred years later? Explain.
